Since today is Canada’s birthday I thought I would feature a beautiful Canadian private islands available for rent. Canada has so many private islands and most of them are large, habitable and affordable. Here is one that I recommend taking your family to on vacation.
Breakwater Island
Rent this private island in Georgia Strait off Gabriola Island, British Columbia. There are two houses on this expansive 74 acre island. The larger cottage, Breakwater Log House which was built in 1933 and sleeps 6. The second home, Breakwater Rock House sleeps 4. This historic island is perfect for families and small groups.
