Happy 4th of July from Amherst Island

I just wanted to say Happy 4th of July to everyone! My family is on holidays and so they are heading over to the island today for some much needed relaxation. Swimming, boating, barbecuing and of course fireworks are all on the agenda. Some of my favorite memories as a kid are of spending the fourth of July on the island with my family, and to this day I look forward to my family visiting and celebrating our nation’s birthday. In my opinion there is no where like Amherst Island to celebrate July 4th. Now I am off to clean up the barbecue.
