Affordable Canadian Islands

The two super powers in the private island world Farhad Vladi of Vladi Private Islands and Chris Krolow of Private Islands Online teamed up with Globe & Mail journalist Rebecca Dube to write a comprehensive article about how Canada is the destination for affordable private islands. The article notes that if you are willing to trade in palm trees for pines you will be able to obtain an island for a fraction of the cost in
Canada compared to their Caribbean counterparts. In the article Mr. Vladi notes “Caribbean properties that wouldn’t sell for $300,000 a decade ago are going for $3-million now” while Chris Krolow adds “Prefabricated homes, easy-to-install solar panels, reverse-osmosis water filtration systems, composting toilets and similar products have opened up the island market.” The article lists 10 affordable islands for sale across Canada all available at Private Islands Online.
