Busy Day in the Private Island World

The last couple of days have been super busy both on my island and in the private island world in general. I have been
neglecting my garden so I have been trying to get it back into shape, and now that everything is coming into season so its time to start harvesting. In addition, my inbox has been overflowing with really interesting private islands news. I’ll post as much as I can today but stay tuned over the next few days because I have some great articles coming out.
Kiplinger’s magazine, one of the most prestigious financial magazines in the world published an article today on buying your own private island. The article is about how to turn your dream of owning a piece of paradise into reality. The article touches on one very important piece of information and that is, although the US real estate market has collapsed the island market is still going strong. The article gives a general overview of the island real estate market which you can read here. It also gives their five tips for buying private islands which is really interesting and can be read here.
