In my books by virtue of a resort being built on a private island it automatically gets bonus points. Private Island resorts although shared with other guests offer a greater degree of privacy than can be obtained on mainland resorts. Typically offering all the same amenities as mainland resorts, island resorts are havens for recreation and relaxation. In my experience island resorts offer a quality of service that goes above and beyond generic mainland resorts. This usually stems from having a limited number of guests at their retreats.
