Very Expensive Islands

I usually try to focus on inexpensive islands that are accessible to the general population. However sometimes its fun to look at really expensive islands that only the few can afford. Here are some of the most expensive islands in the world sent to me by my friends at Private Islands Online.  Come back tomorrow for part 2!

Ronde Island-$100,000,000

The grand daddy of all islands this 2,000 acre Caribbean island is on the market for a one-hundred million dollars. Currently the most expensive island for sale in the world Ronde Island is located in Grenada. This massive island is home to valleys, hills and protected bays and is surrounded by coral encrusted canyons. Ronde Island may very well be the largest private island for sale in the Caribbean today. The development potential is enormous, with an estimate over a billion dollars in villa sales and resort development potential, or the island could be preserved as a massive ecological preserve. Great Hans Lollik and Little Hans Lollik Island-$45,000,000

Located just a stones throw away from St. Thomas, USVI, Great Hans Lollik and Little Hans Lollik are a pair of sister private islands. Great Hans Lollik Island is a 510 acre tropical island featuring white sand beaches, crystal-clear turquois waters, stunning cliffs, and lush palm forests. Hans Lollik is an untouched and undeveloped island and one of the largest privately owned untouched islands in the world.
