Michael Schumaker’s “World” Island First to be Developed

Michael Schumaker Private IslandI have posted about the world projects numerous times and from some of the comments I have received either people love it or hate it. In any case development of the 300 man made island project is surging ahead. The first island to be developed is none other than the one owned by Formula 1 race car driver Michael Schumacher. The $7 million dollar island was actually not purchased by Schumacher. Instead it was given to him as a given to him by Dubai’s crown prince, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Moktoum. The island is located in the arctic portion of the archipelago and satellite photographs show the island is clearly the first to be fully developed. Other celebrities who have purchased property there include Rod Stewart who spent $3 3 million to buy the island of Great Britain. Expect to see the project completed sometime in 2008.

    er.. i actually have called The World marketing office and this is not true at all!
    Michael Schumacher has not bought or been gifted any island.
    In fact the Marketing Manager of The World said he wasnt even invited.
    Theres a lot of rumors of whos bought but from the marketing manager’s own words the following havent bought:
    Michael Schumacher, Michael Jackson, Tommy Lee, Richard Branson.

    Hi Mark, I managed to miss that comment from Debbie from dubaibuy.info when I researched my landmarks of ingenuity article… what do you think about this news? any additional information about who might be the owner of this very development island we see in GE? of course the fact their marketing manager says Schumacher didn’t buy doesn’t say Schumacher didn’t buy but it might be true :)
