Woman Wins Trip to Necker Island
By Islomaniac | November 16, 2007
Want to win a trip to a private island? Well apparently it is possible, an online bidding game called Limbo.com has been giving away trips and gifts to its lucky winners. Apparently the contest is like a reverse e-bay where the lowest unique bid wins, and the best part is that you pay nothing to play.
Reportedly a woman named Sheryl Umstead of Pittsburgh won a six day all inclusive trip to Necker Island. For those of you who don’t know. Necker Island is one of the most beautiful and luxurious private islands in existance. Owned by Richard Branson and located in the British Virgin Islands the island is frequented by celebrities and rents for $322,000/wk.
I know this seems to be “to good to be true” but according to The Pittsburgh Channel.com this is for real. Apparently the products won on Limbo.com are paid advertisements where you can win the products that are advertised.
