Florida Island for Just $93,000!

By Islomaniac | November 18, 2007

Barnard IslandThe more I write about private islands the more I am beginning to spot a really good deal.  I recently came across Barnard Island which was just listed for sale on Private Islands Online.  Although undeveloped this 5.2 acre island located in Florida is on the market for just US $93,000, which is remarkably affordable.  Located on a fresh water lake the island is secluded yet only 1/2 a mile off shore and 1 mile from a public launch.  The island has a lot going for it.  It is located in a developed, economically stable area, it is easy to access and it is ready to be developed.  In addition the island is ecologically stunning, covered with large trees and is a hot spot for bass fishing.  For more information on Barnard Island visit Private Islands Online.

granted it would be nice if it were on the ocean, but being on a fresh water lake has its advantages too.

It looks like there might be alligators lurking about…not that that would deter me if I had the $$.
