Private Island Outside Vancouver

Many island lovers dream of owning an island far enough away from the city that they can have privacy, but close enough to the city that they can quickly escape to their private island for a quick weekend getaway. I rarely feature islands in British Columbia, which is a shame because it has some of the most beautiful islands in the world.
Therefore when I came across a beautiful private island in BC that is just minutes from Vancouver I thought I would feature it. Shelter island which is a 30 minute boat ride from Vancouver is a 3.5 acre forested island that comes complete with sandy beaches, walking trails and majestic views of the Sunshine Coast and the Northshore Mountains.
