Private Island Weekend Spa Getaway

kamalame cay weekend spaKamalame Cay, a 96 acre private island resort in the Bahamas is launching a new “Weekend Spa & Wellness Program” in the early part of 2008.  The weekend spa is actually a four day and three night retreat and will offer  yoga on the beach, mediation, and life coaching (optional). 

The retreat will also offer luxurious spa treatments in their 2,000 square foot aqua spa.  Treatments include a wide array of massages and body/facial treatments including coconut scrubs, seaweed wraps, and spiced rum wraps (which I think sound pretty neat).

The private island weekend retreats will be hosted by New York City based, Jo Hook who is the founder of Avatar Yoga Retreats and Body as an Instrument, which is a holistic fitness program.
