New Atlantis to be Built on Artificial Island

Atlantis DubaiMost travelers and island enthusiasts are familiar with the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas. What many people don’t know is a new Atlantis Resort is being built on the Palm Jumeirah, the man made island project currently under construction in Dubai.

Much like its counterpart in the Bahamas the Atlantis Palm Jumeirah will feature a similar design of two hotel towers liked by an arch, a huge water park and an expansive marine habitat featuring 5,000 marine creatures.

The pace at which islands are being built and developed in Dubai is dizzying. It seems that within a few years Dubai will be one of the top vacation destinations in the world.
