The Fisherman’s Kayak

Fisherman's KayakI love to feature products that are practical, efficient, and environmentally friendly. Sometimes however, I like to feature products that are pure luxury, items that just make Private Island living that much better.

I’m avid fisherman, and I enjoy kayaking so when I came across the Fisherman’s Kayak I knew I had to feature it.  The Fisherman’s Kayak is the only stand up kayak available that uses an outrigger system to stabilize the craft, thus enabling outdoor enthusiasts to fish from a standing position.

The craft has two independent outriggers that pivot outward 45 degrees to its centerFisherman's Kayak line and can swing back into position to form the aft section of the craft and allow for smooth paddling. 

Scupper drain holes allow for easy water removal and an anchor boom allows for anchor deployment from a seated position.  The craft, which supports up to 400lbs retails for $1,900.

This boat looks like its designed for one part adventure and one part relaxation!
