By Islomaniac | February 25, 2008
Artificial man-made islands are growing in popularity for both personal use and for use as ecological preserves and animal refuges. I thought I would share with you today a great website chronicling the construction of an artificial private island in
Named Betty’s Island, this artificial private island is located in LL Buchanan
The website provides an excellent visual and written description of how the island was constructed and the challenges that they faced along the weigh. A second website which you can visit here has also been created to update readers on its status since being completed.
Overall it’s an excellent website if you have ever considered constructing a private island or you are just interested in how it is done.
