Mr. Vladi along with two partners purchased Dark Island, one of the most impressive properties in the St. Lawrence back in 2002 for 1.7 million dollars.  The island was put back on the market in 2006 for $22 million after investing millions in renovations. Singer CastleUpdates include renewal of the boathouses, wharf and facade of the castle, a new roof and potable water system and water treatment plant, along with upgrading the telephone and electrical systems.

Since renovations have commenced the renovated 28 room castle has become a popular tourist destination and has hosted many weddings.  In addition the castle offers a luxury private suite in the castle with breathtaking views that’s quickly becoming popular. The suite rents for $700 a night.
