Hammocks and Islands
By Islomaniac | March 22, 2008
This year for my birthday my kids got me a hammock, after my old one recently fell apart. In my opinion nothing says island living like laying in a swaying hammock as the a cool breeze comes off the water. What makes hammocks so great is that they are exceptionally versatile. There are literally dozens of types of hammocks available, from stand alone hammocks to the traditional “tie between two trees hammock.” In addition hammocks are affordable and unlike other bulkier lawn furniture hammocks can easily be packed up and stored in a small space, which is ideal if you only visit your island occasionally. Although hammocks can be purchased virtually everywhere if you want to view a great selection I suggestion Hammocks.com which has a huge selection of quality hammocks starting at $99.99
