The Most Expensive Private Islands: Part 1

Have an extra $100 Million or so to spend? If so, you may want to consider investing in one of the many ultra-expensive islands available for sale around the world. Although I prefer writing about islands that are more affordable and more accessible to the general population, I thought it would be interesting to feature some of the most expensive islands available for sale. This article marks the first in a five part series. Keep coming back over the next couple weeks to see the other islands that have made the list.
Rangyai Island, Thailand-$160,000,000
Phuket is one of the most popular regions in all of Thailand. Famous for its white sand beaches, and warm ocean waters, Phuket is the epitome of paradise. For the first time ever you can have a chance to own a piece of this area. Just of the coast of Phuket lies Ranyai Island, 110 acres of white sand beaches and tropical vegetation. The island, although undeveloped has enormous potential. Given its location to Phuket and its proximity to Phuket International Airport the island could easily become a world-class resort.
