The Spring Island Rush Has Begun: Part 4
By Islomaniac | April 24, 2008
Over the last several weeks, I have been featuring islands ideal for brief or long summer getaways. From an island golf resort in Ireland to a fishing lodge in British Columbia, I have criss-crossed the world looking for unique private island vacation destinations. This week I thought I would head south to feature a secluded Bahamian retreat, ideal for the beach loving family.
Little Dead Man’s Cay, The Bahamas
If you love the beach and the warm ocean waters, but hate the crowds, consider Little Dead Man’s Cay. This 10-acre island is famous for its pristine beaches and warm ocean breezes. With just one beachfront home the island is for you to explore and enjoy. The island has three swimming areas, the beach side, the snorkeling side, and two Olympic size swimming pools formed by natural channels. The islands home features 3 bedrooms, indoor and outdoor showers, fully equipped kitchen, and fireplace. Little Dead Man’s Cay is truly the ideal vacation spot for the family who wants to spend quality time together
