The Most Expensive Private Islands: Part 2

Last week I posted about Rangyai Island a 160 million dollar island for sale in Thailand. This week is the second part of a five part series on the most expensive islands in the world.  This week I am featuring Lisbon Island, a massive private island in Portugal.

The islands value comes from the fact that it is a very large private island sitting on the coast of a world famous city. In addition, it is just 5km away from Lisbon Harbor and 6km away from Lisbon International Airport. What this all means is the island is prime land for large-scale development.  In fact, the island has already seen proposals for a luxury golf resort that would include world-class hotels and spas. It will be interesting to see when this island sells, an who the buyer is.
