I always like posting articles about private islands, I find they say a lot of the things that I have been thinking and they often demonstrate just how popular private islands can be. A new article in the Vermont Sunday Magazine talks about something near and dear to my heart…Private Island Rentals.
Renting a Private Island is an incredible concept as it opens up island living to people not interested in owning an island, or those who are unsure whether or not it is something they would like. In any case the Vermont Sunday Magazine does an excellent job of visiting a number of rental locations around the world. Here is an excerpt from the article:
The way to avoid breaking the bank is to be flexible on timing and location. For instance, Private Islands is offering an island off the coast of Croatia for only $250 a week. Of course it will cost nearly $2,000 to fly there and back from the United States. Flying to Vanuatu, just west of Fiji, where the company has other affordable offerings, costs about $3,000.
