A Royal Proposal on Mustique?

The Brits are abuzz this week with rumors that Prince William may be proposing this weekend to girlfriend Kate Midleton, after the two jetted off to the exclusive island of Mustique this weekend. Mustique, for those of you who don’t know, is the ultra exclusive island of the royal, rich and famous. Located in St. Vincent and the Grenadines the 1,400 acre private island is home to David Bowie, Tommy Hilfiger and Hugh Grant, among others.

Royal Insiders, whoever they are, are reporting that Prince William is preparing to take his relationship with Middleton to “the next level.” It is reported that the pair will be vacationing in the $3,400/night Villa Allumbrera. The villa, a secluded cliffside mansion with panoramic views over the Caribbean, is owned by the widow of Swedish tycoon Adolf Lundin.

So I guess will have to wait and see whether or not this private island becomes the site of a royal engagement.
