Like most islomaniacs I subscribe to Islands magazine.  For a magazine with a relatively modest circulation, the magazine is incredibly well laid out and informative. This months issue features Hosteria Pehoe a 45 room hotel situated on an inland island and connected to the mainland by a 165-foot-long bridge.

Located on Chile’s Lake Pehoe the hotel features cozy comfort, regional cuisine and out-of-this-world views.  The lake on which the island rests is surrounded by black rock peaks, which remind me of something out of Lord of the Rings.
