Branson Plans Eco-Resort for Private Island

Richard Branson, founder of the Virgin company and owner of the famous Necker Island has recently announced that he plans on developing an eco-friendly resort on one of his private islands.
Branson who is a high school dropout who has become known as a savvy entrepreneur, said he plans for his newest property, Mosquito Island, is to be transformed into what he touts as the most environmentally-friendly resort on the globe.
Mosquito is currently an uninhabited island off the coast of Virgin Gorda. Branson envisions 20 villas and a beachfront restaurant powered entirely by wind turbines and solar panels. During a tour of the island Branson told reporters that he told reporters that the eco-resort’s buildings would capture cool thermal airflows, eliminating the need for air conditioners.
