Blue-Me Portable Vacation Homes

I have heard of modular homes, but the Blue-Me Portable Vacation Home takes the cake for being one of the most interseting concepts for island living. Designed to provide all the comforts of home without having to build a home on your far off island the Blue-Me portable home is the brainchild of artist Anton Markus Pasing.
This unique and portable home features a living room and a kitchen complete with an oven, a cot and TV, and most importantly storage. The prefab structure even plugs in to outside power and water sources. Therefore if you island has external power and water, or you have installed an alternative form of generating electricity (solar/wind etc), you could be up and running in no time.
Of course the catch is this unique home has not been built yet, but the designer is trying to convince manufacturers to give it a try.
