Motu Tane: Rent in Tahiti
By Islomaniac | July 20, 2008
There is something about the words Tahiti and Bora Bora that excite me. Perhaps it is because for islomaniacs (lovers of islands), this island region is among the most beautiful in the world. Although there are islands available for sale in Tahiti, there are also many for rent. Among the most expensive is Motu Tane.
Motu Tane is a stunning island that is located just across the channel from the main island of Bora Bora. With interiors designed by world renowned designer Christian Liaigre the thatched roof bungalows represent the best in south pacific design.
This mini island resort is rented out to only one group at a time to ensure maximum privacy and relaxation no matter what the reason for celebrating. The resort rents for $230,000 a week which makes it among the most expensive in the world. However, the resort does accomodate up to 26 guests, which when divided equally makes it approximately $9,000 per person, which although still expensive is not an outrageous price, especially considering its features and location.
