Tower of Wind on an Artificial Island

Tokyo Tower of Wind

In Tokyo a mysterious and and beautiful island has been constructed which has become home to a large tower. Rumored by some to be the home of Godzilla, the tower which is actually called Kaze-no-to is really only a ventilation shaft on the Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line which links Kisarazu City and Kawasaki City.

This man-made island which is also called the Tower of Wind took about 30 years to be completed. The views from the top of the tower are impressive and offer breathtaking views of the Tokyo skyline. There isn’t a lot of information on this project so I am not sure if it is completed yet.  Either way I think this man made island is an interesting piece of island architecture.
