Floating hotels are no longer just a niche market, they have become part of the highly competitive island industry. Recently Reuters Ranked the top 10 floating hotels in the world.

Taking the number one spot was King Pacific Lodge in British Columbia which allows guests to experience pristine wilderness without sacrificing five-star comfort. 

The list also includes ReefWorld an eco friendly floating resort under construction in the Great Barrier Reef. Also on the list is Oberoi Udaivilas a five star , visiually stunning hotel in India and Conrad Maldives which stretches across two private islands in the Indian Ocean.
