I am getting reports from around the world that a team of researchers are about to announce the discovery of the lost city of Atlantis. Until now the lost island nation was believed by many to only be a myth. In the story the island was home to a technologically advanced race of humans, who lived in a virtual utopia. At some point during the last 3,000 years it is believed that a great disaster caused the island, and its people to be destroyed.

Although the cause of the disaster is unknown, people have speculated about who these Atlantians were, and what happened to their island home. Now a team of researchers from the U.S., Italy and Greece are about to announce that they have discovered this lost island off the coast of Crete, in the Mediterranean Sea. Although many of the details are still unknown, it is being reported that many unique finds have been made including the discovery of advanced architecture and the remains of what could have been an aiplane. If these findings are found to be authentic, it will be the first evidence that advanced technology was being used on Earth centuries before the development of the internal combustion engine.
