Although it looks like it is a greenhouse the pictured prefab  designed by Hiroshi Iguchi is actually designed for people.  The intrepid architect utalized  a tratitional greenhouse design to construct an invoative island home. The home maintains many of its greenhouse funtions and includes a garden with trees that poke through the ceiling.

However, the home is also a functional living space. Split into two levels, the first level is cocupied by living spaces, including the kitchen and dining area, the second level is a flat open area ideal for lounging or sleeping. Athough this may not be the most logical or even practical island home, it would no doubt be an excellent  home or the island owner who wants to minimize the impact they have on their island.
