Portable Water Filtration
The joy and burden of living on a private island means that you can’t afford to take anything for granted, not even your drinking water. Fortunately new technologies are making island inhabitation easier than ever. One area where advancement has been particularly pronounced is in personal water filtration.
One of the most stunning products currently under development is Aqualaris, an elegant, poritatble water purifier that is simple to use and requires no electricity.
Water enteres the Aqualris, passes over a removable reuable filter then travels under a layer of converter crystals where germacidal UVC rays purify the water. The device isn’t in production yet, and apparently there is some kinks that still need to be worked out. Nonetheless, it would no doubt be a great addition to any island owner.

Here is another product that just came out from Berkey. It’s small, easy to transport, and it does not require any electricity. It may not be quite as elegant as the above product, but it will definitely purify your water not matter where you are. You can take it anywhere and have clean water to drink. Its called a Go Berkey Kit:

That is a pretty cool looking product. I would want to make sure that it filters out all pathogenic bacteria, lead, mercury, arsenic and viruses. Thanks for posting!
Money spent on the mind is never spent in vain.
