The Largest Island for Sale in the World.
Very few islands ever come on the market in Mexico and when they do they are often leasehold properties (as opposed to freehold). However, one island that recently came on the market and that is sure to catch the attention of the world is San Jose Island. The island is rumored to be about 2 million acres in size and is on the market for $150M. From the description it appears that the present plan is to develop the island as an ecopark.

I am in the market for a private island. However, something is not right in the labeled size of this island.
Therefore, I need the correct size of the island not just the reef and waterway size added to the island.
2. Is there fresh water on the island or is it completely dry?
3. What is the general elevation of the island?
4. The link provided does not give this island or any specifics about this island.
5. Will this island be under Mexican Governing rule or will this be a true sale where the island will be an independent governing protectorate?
