One of the most exciting islands I have seen in a long time showed up in my inbox the other day. I talk a lot about paradise on this blog, and truthfully most of the islands I post about are little pieces of paradise. However, Savage Jungle is the closest thing to The Garden of Eden I think I have ever seen.
At 1,325 acres Savage Jungly does not represent the entire island rather a piece of the island, with the remainder being a national park. The island itself is reportedly about the size of Hawaii.
Located in Patagonia Chile the island is covered with untouched rainforest and unlimited potential. For the last ten years the present owner of the property has been working with the government to secure development rights to the island parcel.
Currently permission exists for the development of a exclusive five star resort. Scale models of the resort have already been developed by famed architect Antoine Predock. The delveopment plan calls for the resort to be built on a platform that literally above one of the properties 26 waterfalls resulting in views nothing less than spectacular.
